Hall of Clestrain - The Basement

In this video our President - Andrew Appleby, explains about the basement which was converted into pig pens in the 1950's.

The Hall was built in 1769 and is a grade A listed building, one of a few of its type in Scotland. It has a long history involving pirates, poets and explorers but is now in desperate need of rescuing for the next stage in its life - a world class Event Venue and an Education Centre for the Arctic.

If you would like to help us restore this fine building and turn it into an award winning Events Venue either contact us on info@johnraesociety.com or visit our web site at https://johnraesociety.com

If you would like to donate to our project then you can use our JustGiving page at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/JRS-Funds-Needed
